Career Hack's guide to building a resume
1. What it must include
A resume is not about you. It's about what you can do for them. Know that employers take about 7-60 seconds to read the resume so it has to be concise and efficient. Below is a quick list of what needs to be included in your resume.
- Education (Only include GPA if it's 3.8 or over )
- Jobs need detail
- Experience
- Relevant information to the job
- Put relevant information higher (within its section)
- 1-page in length

3. BULLETED DETAILS
- List degree only if attended (Use identifying words like "pursued" or "attaining")
- You can list courses related to the field
- Quantify the information within the bullet points
- Use action words within the bullet points (i.e. developed, oversaw, managed, implemented, created, led)
- Be concrete and show the results of your actions
